No, your eyes are not deceiving you. Yes, this is a chocolate ice cream float made with Jägermeister and Guinness beer. And, yes it is AMAHZINGLY BONKERS DELICIOUS.
Sorry for shouting, but I’m really just trying to convey the fact that this combination is crushing it on so many levels. #LoveWins you guys! It’s almost like after I consumed this boozy ice cream concoction, I forgot what life was like before I had it. The world is just a better place with the Guinness & Jäger Chocolate Float in it. Believe.
When I was asked to participate in a roundup of ice cream cocktails for the lifestyle site ClintonKelly.com, I thought about using some of my go-tos, featured almost exactly a year ago on this blog. But then I realized it was a great opportunity to play around with some flavors I’d been wanting to combine for a while now. I love rich chocolate and creamy stout together, and thought an herbaceous punch in the mouth like Jägermeister could elevate this combo to the next level. I was not incorrect. The beer and chocolate tempers the liqueur, but only slightly. The flavors, when combined, really just ridiculously compliment each other.
